I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.

On a more serious note.

According to this:
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/stats/

The top thread (or post), by view count, possibly would be this one:

I see you are making fun of me.

Maybe I am missing something.

If that is the case then maybe you can explain stuff at least and I did say please in that thread.

I don't mind people making fun of me but try to be helpful too, that means sharing the joke of whatever fun you found out of that post.

Forgive me I am a fool.

Sorry.

Just told this was a joke thread.

On the other hand it worked, on me at least.
Must be a very good joke.

Well done RoGeorge.

Yes I know now. I was a bit agitated and irritated earlier trying to find answers as to wirewound fuses being used for these doorbell cameras with no explanation whatsoever, in the manual, in forums, youtube videos wiring them up when some don't mention the need for a resistor at all in on the product page or manual. I opened the thread, saw this one after and fell for it. Maybe if I wasn't so agitated and took more time to notice then I might have noticed.

Well that shows how gullible I can be and a lesson too to stand back a bit.

I see it was harmless fun.
