Anything interesting from C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-Atlas)?
« on: August 29, 2024, 08:42:49 pm »
This likely is a subject many techies would pay attention to.

If you don't already know, comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-Atlas) should be beginning to be visible in the Southern skies, but soon to be overwhelm the Sun light.  How is the view from our fellow forum members down-under? and elsewhere?

It is suppose to be one of the brighter comets.  If it survives it's closest approach around the Sun without breaking up (September 27, 0.39AU at perihelion), we looking up the Northern Skies will get a shot at seeing it on it's way out.
