Anyone knows a source of LEMO-like connectors
« on: November 11, 2012, 01:49:25 am »
I'm looking for FGG.2B.308.CLAD62Z, Digikey does not ship that one to canada, and on mouser it's twice the price at $77. I found http://keywolf.com that sells LEMO-like at 20% of the price, but they seem to have shut down since september.

Have you tried to contact the Canadian Lemo office directly? Their German branch has always been very helpful even for end user low quantity purchases.

I haven't yet but I have the number of the local LEMO guy. I'm afraid they will assrape me on the price because of low quantity. It's $65 each from digikey if you buy 100+.

The company I work for uses PEI Genesis often to order military grade circular connectors. They seem to be rather cheap compared to other distributors.

0 in Stock. :(

Might be worth to inquire with them tho.

Cheers,
Florian

Aliexpress has some... http://www.aliexpress.com/store/214742 but not excatly the model you need...

They are Chinese made, not sure about quality.

I gotta say those Lemos are beautiful connectors, too bad they're so expensive!

Even worse. I have some used Lemos taken from outdated equipment and I have no mating connectors. And no place to buy them!

Those are the Rolls Royce of the connectors. They are really expensive. Tektronix has them on their equipment. I had to build a power supply for a Tektronix active probe and it was cheaper to get a used power supply from ebay than to buy 2 Lemo connectors :(

I routinely spec and purchase connectors from China that mate with the more expensive "name brands". While I haven't used the Lemo clones, I think you should check them out. They're often good quality and about 1/4 the cost.
