Canadian T.V... "new" Shaw Motorola HD PVR 630.....720 pi or 1080 pi ???

What is the scoop on the "New" $400.00 Shaw HD PVR model Motorola 630 ?  Is it the industry standard 720 p or the only kid on the block 1080 p which some people claim ?

Broadcast HD is 720 as far as i know. However some PVR will upscale the resolution to 1080 if used with HDMI much the same as the Foxtel IQ boxes do here in Australia.

Its better to get a non-cable co. PVR, and this is popular, you can save all you HD to a PC and its HD.

It also costs $200, tops.  With the $CD now >= $US, it's a steal and a better deal for being able to save movies as you want, and burning them to disk and moving them anywhere you want
