720p hd action camera

my friend won a gopro so he gave me his old 720p camera that is the style of a gopro he brought it 2years ago for 51usd what i wanted to know is if it was a real 720p camera and not just upscaled from sd to hd

here is a sample clip it looks ok to me but im not too sure its a true 720p camera maybe it would be better on a bright sunny day
