new rigol firmware out in the wild?
« on: January 13, 2012, 11:10:17 pm »
I recently bought a cheap Rigol ds1052e since it seemed a very good buy for a beginner, so i thought i would upgrade it to 100mhz as many other people have done but when i checked the firmware version it turned out to be 00.02.06.00.01 which i can’t find any record of so far. Just thought the community would be interested :)

Thanks

Matt

You can convert from 2.06.

There are some links to the downgrade files that hopefully still work, but if not, A Hellene has the instructions on how to patch files to do the downgrade.

Once you get back to V2.02 Sp2, you are able to change it.
