How to use Activation code and customer number

I have both of these codes. I received these from a person who got 10 seats of Alt. donated to our school.
How do I use these to sign into Alt?

Open the licence manager in Altium.  I think it's reasonable obvious from there?

All it gives me an option for is connecting to a server or add a stand alone licence file

Have you signed in to the Altium account that the licences are for?
