Readers, you've seen the rants. A real feeling that technology innovations aren't utilizing the usual, traditional FEEDBACK processes.
I'm saying, that 77 Buttons, (and often in darkened room), over TWO remotes is just not 'sustainable', to use a popular term.
Eventually, these sorts of things go beyond simple grumbling. Those remotes DO in fact represent a wide opportunity. For example, the two media systems running in concert can go off to internet, grabbing a movie on-line, that isn't coming through on satelight dish, often due to excessive errors or dish pointing flubs.
So, a person could justify all this basically hard to manage functions by pointing to the greater variety. Easy and quick to dispute that;
Much of the 'Movie' content is going to be the old standards, which ironically seems to consist of Adam Sandler movies, plus more Adam Sandler movies.
I pick that example because, the actor seems to be a frequent, convenient and non-controversial 'formula' or recipe movie.
Ditto, for the whole 'Back to the Future' franchise. Point being, that I don't really feel like I've 'stumbled' on some gem of a movie, after a darkened fumble of one of those, 77 Buttons (44 plus 33, on each remote).
My estimate is that many remotes will become obsolete, as you will use your AI 'button assist' APP, to get that Adam Sandler movie.
Or, to get access to some OTHER, Adam Sandler movie....or another Back to the Future re-do!
