I currently have a large stock of NOS Peltier units.

Anyone want to buy them? With 12v across them, they draw about 5A each (have not measured properly as i had fans attached at the time)

each unit comes with or without heatsinks, the prices will be:

£20 + £8 for a unit excluding backing plate:

£25 + £12 for a whole unit:

Buy 5 of any item and get 1 free! (contact me for postage costs)

Postage is for UK, contact me for postage outside of UK

Most aluminium frames of the units have bent corners, this can be fixed rather easly however.
These heatsinks are high quality machined heatsinks with the fins pressed and glued in for better thermal dissapation then extruded versions.

These units were used for special temperature controlled and logged fridges being sold at around £4,500. Each unit cost them around £400 to make but were scrapped due to product never being sold..
the units are unused. A few have been damaged in storage. (best ones go first no damages on the units will affect performance (all have been tested) ). The pelteir plates are quality made,
not cheap china ones like on ebay as these products were top-of line.

The unit is about 440mm long, the fan ports pictures are standard size fans like those found in computer PSUs.

Partially dissassembled:

I have around 20 pcs so buy up while stocks last!
I prefure bank transfur however i can now accept paypal with no added fee!

I have measured them go to around -30*C with only 2 fans cooling the larger heatsink.

Interesting to see that last time you posted this and I offered £25 for a unit without backing plate that was apparently totally ripping you off, yet here we are a few months later, you've sold half of them, and now you're asking £28.

Not after an argument, nor do I want any of the units, just thought it was an interesting development.

Hmm.  :-//

Basicly, back then i didn't need the money -as- much as i do now (father lost his job) As a result im lowering the price just to try get more sold to get money in to cover bills and such.

wow what a nice chunk of heatsink. i bet shipping even within your own country will be quite a cost factor. too bad you dont ship overseas.

Postage is not bad inside the uk (around £6 + my Packaging) but sending it out of the country, even just into the EU is like £50.

I'm probably interested - what is the function of the backing plate? Where are you located (just wondering if I could collect to save the postage cost)

I just bought one - I hated to think of your education suffering! :)

It looks a fun thing to play around with and perhaps build into a temperature controlled box.

I'd like to play with one, but the £50 postage takes away the fun. Was that a guesstimate or is that the actual postage?
