Fluke 8840A/8842A Transformer wanted (preferably UK)
« on: January 21, 2016, 08:52:54 pm »
Does anybody have a totally wrecked 8840 or 8842 DMM or board with a working transformer that they want to get rid of? I have an 8842A with a duff transformer primary and cannot get a transformer from Fluke or any other source and it seems a shame to bin the unit as it was all working before the transformer went.
Contact me if you have a suitable unit.

I've seen that thread and am full of admiration that they built a transformer but it's not for me. I buy equipment to use it and not to spend countless hours on this kind of project. It's a nice workbench meter but if I can't find a transformer then there are others which can take its place.
