Hi guys,
I am selling this high voltage divider. I was not able to find any information on the internet at all on it.
The only markings on it are a logo that no one knows and the title VHVD101 on a bar code. It's very well made and very accurate, I did a rough description of the measurements done here:
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/metrology/high-voltage-divider-what-company-is-this/ - all in all, less than 0.005% error as far as I was able to measure it. I have tested the device with low voltage only, I don't have access to a higher voltage source that could be used that precisely.
The insides of it are just what you'd expect - bunch of high voltage resistors connected in series, potted in a transparent goo. A PT100 is thermally connected to one of the high voltage resistors to measure the temperature. The output connectors are LEMO types, one two pin for the divider output and one 4 pin for the PT100 output. I'm pretty sure that this cost a pretty penny when new.
It is marked 50kV max. The input connectors are of a high voltage variety, I can't identify the precise type, looks like an ELMESO system, the diameter of the inner hole is 17mm and they are pretty deep.
I do not know the original use of this device, it's probable that it was a part of a larger system.
The outer dimensions are 470mm x 110mm x 70mm.
The device is sold as is. The asking price is 120 EUR + shipping. Personal pickup (or showing of the item) in Bratislava, Slovakia is an option.
Best regards,
David
