does anyone have an old analog scope?
« on: June 29, 2012, 11:13:41 am »
hello forum members

over the past three years or so, i have learned basic electronics. to proceed in learning more, a oscilloscope would mean a lot to me. at a young age, i cant afford much of a decent oscilloscope. it would be wonderful if a fellow forum member located around melbourne (victoria, australia), could donate a analog oscilloscope to me. ideally with 2 channels, and atleast 20MHz bandwidth. please reply if you have any questions, or even better, an analog oscilloscope to donate!!

email: blackjames098@gmail.com

bye for now, and not forever

What part of Melbourne do you live? We're in Bayswater and have an old Hameg HM208
you can have (was about to be recycled :-)). All works, cal is way out, but physically OK.

Hiya,
Free. I'm sure I can find a couple probes as well. I'm in the middle of setting up a domain, so have
no proper internet mail, so I'll email you further when I get home. I'll bring it with me to Mt Waverley.
You can email me on my profile if you have any questions.

you don't need his actual address you can send him an email using the forum system. Just click on the envelope icon on the left side of his post, just below his avatar pic.
