WANTED [UK/Europe]: ABI Boardmaster 4000

I'm looking for an ABI Boardmaster 4000,  manufactured by ABI in the United Kingdom. 

Either a complete unit or parts to help fix my non-working unit.

An alternative might be the ICE Speedmaster EPROM programmer that also does chip testing, see

Have you tried talking to ABI re: spares etc..

Yes.   Years ago they would reply telling you they didn't support it and that they had discarded all information and parts including schematics.  They would direct you to purchase newer product. More recently questions are ignored. 

So back to the request asked.

Considering ABI's very business is based on building equipment that helps customers repair old gear rather than replacing it I find that somewhat surprising.

I'll refrain from saying anything else, as we make products in the same sphere as ABI. Good luck on your hunt, if I come across a unit I'll let you know.
