WTD Thurlby 1905a Parts
« on: June 09, 2014, 07:57:49 am »
I am trying to fix up one of these meters
but I need the Amp selection switch and
A display LED.

Does anyone know where I could get replacements for these ?

I've got a Thurlby 1503 that you could raid for parts, the switches could well be the same. It rattles a lot and I suspect the internal battery is long past its best. I don't think I've ever powered this up.

hi kjds

the bank of switches are different
yours has no separate Amp switch
and your resistance switch is not the same internally
(mine is longer and more pins)

I am not sure how viable it is to separate the switches
because they are all linked together
(push one in another pops out etc)

So for now I will have to pass on your offer but I might contact you
about it later if I get desperate enough to chance it :)

Have you tried TTi - they do have a spare parts service and are pretty helpful.

Thanks for the suggestion fcb
I just got off the phone with TTI and they
have no stock of parts for this model.

Was worth a go though.  :-+
