the "gem" is taken, so this thread is obsolete.

You could do better if this thread more of a discussion instead of linking to an obsolete "link" , IMO.
so this is a better place to hijack! for your own good . since i was thinking an issue about ebay link days ago, instead of making a new thread, i will say it here.

i was thinking, link to ebay is not so ellegant idea (some did this, including the OP, and.... me!), the problem is, when the time goes, the listed item is no longer available making the (most) posts irrelevant. jeez, i just noted this, others may have thought years ago, o well. just a thought. any better idea?

ps: dont talk about free gem in ebay here! i'm hijacking this thread!

I think the thread was created a short time before the auction ending giving people on the ball a chance to grab it on the spot.

As this is a buy/sell section all posts will become obsolete pretty quickly - what's the problem with that ?

The listing was fresh (about two hours old) when I posted. And then somebody snapped it.

As for posting eBay links, I don't see anything bad about it. Why not show a good deal to others if I'm not interested in it
