And after the screwdrivers we discuss quality paper clips, yes?

See what you did? Now you've spoiled the surprise.  :)

Wera & Felo are nice but I like/use PB Swiss.

Solid handles = not my friends.

I love any screwdrivers with heavy handles, you can spin the shaft with your fingers to quickly turn screws.

I like really like Wera Kraftform Kompakt VDE screwdriver set. You can use the shaft by itself, it's thick enough for good finger grip. Then finish it with the handle. Good tool that will last.

Recently, I bought a set(8 pieces) of very cheap ~$8 red/yellow electrical screwdrivers from Aldi's Workzone brand. I assumed the dark coated tips were chrome vanadium to my disappointment they were just copper! So imagine how soft they are. Well, good thing is it won't ruin your screws...  :-\

Ok, my Lindstrom tweezers are now travelling to me.
In the meantime, thanks to eliocor's focussed attempts to corner the market on SM-100's, I am still looking for these.
If anyone can think of UK suppliers, that would be great. If not, any good supplier will do.

Update: Bahco rep just told me that SM-100 has been discontinued. If something like these is available from other good manufacturers, I'd appreciate your suggestions.

Update 7 Aug: Bahco catalogue lists Belzer tweezers, and one of these is quite similar to SM-100. Would anyone have anything to say for or against Belzer?

Nice tweezer review.

Wonder how useful would LINDSTROM TL 29D-SA and TL H-SA be.

Just want to let you all know that I finally got my tweezers(parcels coming in to Aus getting delayed nowadays). I can confirm that these tweezers are genuine compared to a few of mine which I already had. The reverse action tweezers have much stronger tension than regular tweezers which is good because they are used for gripping by their own.

I really like the ErgoTouch grip series, despite the thick blue rubberlike grip, it's still able to provide ample amount of feedback and really comfy. The Titanium series win the feedback test and having the lightest tension but don't expect the Titanium tweezers do any heavy load work because it's a lot softer than stainless steel.

I have been considering these tweezer but wonder why do we need so many different ones? Does each one you own make a difference or do their function overlap.

Wonder if you can share more on your choices of these special tweezers

Personally, I find that tweezers are tweezers: I've got Chinese ones and Bernstein ones, and, unless they are of really bad quality, they all tweeze just fine.

If you say so, surely you have never used good quality ones!  ;)
Just as an example, between the Lindstrom tweezers, do not buy the SL ones: they belong to the economical line and, even if they are really good, they do not even compare to the other lines of Lindstrom tweezers!!!
I used some quiet expensive tweezers so I can compare. I ordered and used a lot some WeiTus cheapies (made in Switzerland, LOL) from Dealxtreme. And they are surprisingly good. But I've seen other more expensive Chinese tweeters which were very crappy.
