WTB: 2+ TPS259621 ICs
« on: November 17, 2021, 04:50:15 am »
Hi all, have a couple of boards with a TPS259621 shaped empty spot and hand watering my greenhouse is soooo pre-2000.
Digikey just moved the ETA for my order to the end of 2022. Is there anyone with a couple of these chips lying around?
I'd ideally like to source 10 of those or so, but I'll get by with 2. Happy to add a beer to the ICs and postage costs.

Can you just bypass the IC, or install a hard fuse and TVS?
Seems like its fusing and overvoltage protection.

Thanks for the reply. Sure can solve it in different ways, but supply protection/regulation gets much cleaner and easier with that IC.
That's ok, I'll probably just come up with a more standard approach until TI starts pumping out chips again.
