« on: May 22, 2013, 11:22:50 pm »
Newbie learning the ropes. Found this site through the EEV youtube channel.

Now got the bug and now looking for a scope to play with. 20mhz or 50mhz better i suppose.

Anybody have anything lying around for a few beer tokens. Just starting out so it doesnt have to be particularly great.

Thanks chaps looking forward to reading more on the site.

Change your profile to add your country, helps when asking for info if we know where you are located

Cheers

Hi,

Try talking to (or searching the internet) for local University/College  Electrical Engineering Departments that might be replacing outdated equipment.  I found that my local university's engineering department was replacing much of the test equipment in their EE dept.  I was able to get an older Tek TDS 210 Scope for $15.00 USD.  (Seems to work pretty well, for what I paid).
