Looking For Philips GM2308 LF Oscillator - info / manual
« on: May 23, 2013, 08:36:35 am »
A Philips GM2308 LF Oscillator has recently come into my possession, and unfortunately I can only find limited information on the internet regarding it.

It is a valve unit using a EM34 magic eye (zero beat), I believe it to be circa 1960's.

The unit outputs a 0-16000 Hz signal at a few millivolts adjustable to over 100 volts, but I am unsure as to input requirements. The magic eye is obviously used to compare the input signal to the output (internal oscillator), but as yet I am unable to get any indication Via the 'Eye' as to the unit operating correctly.

Unfortunately the user & service manuals I have found have been in Dutch or French - given time I could eventually translate, but obviously an English version would  be preferred.

Any help regarding an English manual, locating a manual, or the operating / input specifications etc would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks

Paul
