[Freebies] Cleaning up some stuff
« on: June 01, 2015, 11:45:33 am »
Hi all, i am doing some cleanup in my workshop, and i have noticed i have some spare ICs and other parts i have never used/never will, and i am willing to send it to the first person that would pay the shipping (since most of the parts are samples, i cant demand any money for them). Anyone?

What country are you in?  That would help anyone decide if the postage is worth it.

Agreed...... :-+
A time may come in the future whereby people will have to ask which planet you are on although I strongly suspect that this question has already been asked on the forum.

I need to do the same with boxes of stuff that we will not likely use mainly NOS, Will start getting a list together, simply not interested in listing the stuff on Ebay. This type of thread pops up frequently by members, a vote on sticky perhaps ?

If it's not "a lot" I'll take it, what's the shipping to Norway?

Indeed, many years ago there was an annoying pest (unfortunately mentally ill) on Usenet: rec.video.production (or was it rec.arts.movies.production.sound?) and we had strong suspicions that he was somehow posting from some other universe than the one we are in.  The laws of physics were very different in his universe than they are in ours.

Bonus question: Does anyone what is the NAME of our universe (the one where you are reading this question!)?
I found it difficult to discuss alternate universes when I couldn't even name the one that I am in.

An interesting observation, probably by Arthur C Clarke....

We are the first generation in which it is possible for one human being to have a verbal conversation with any other human being. We may also be the last generation in which that is possible.
There are lies, damned lies, statistics - and ADC/DAC specs.
Glider pilot's aphorism: "there is no substitute for span". Retort: "There is a substitute: skill+imagination. But you can buy span".

Given that our galaxy is called the "Milky Way", I propose we call it the "95% Dark Chocolate" universe.
