That's heartbreaking. Considering that even if one didn't want the SEM, there's a complete high vacuum pumping system in there. Also that sloping cylinder on the right in the the first photo is (I think) part of a gamma ray spectrometer.
Not to mention the vacuum feedthrough X-Y-Z micromovement stage.

Sigh. Someone was lucky. Hope they didn't just buy it for scrap. I'd have paid that price just for the pull-apart fun.
