The 0.35x len is mandatory or else it will not sync with eye peice and get a black round margin on image.
Using it with Amscope SM-4TP, camera will sync with eyepiece if you set the focus correctly at eyepiece and adaptor, no matter the zoom level you set camera will always show what you see from eyepieces.
