Ce Sencore est très ancien, il est devenu rare en France et dans l'Union européenne. Nous utilisons un Variac séparé, un analyseur de puissance et des HyPots pour les tests de sécurité et de résistance à la terre.

Quelle est votre utilisation exacte ? Je peux peut-être vous aider.

Dear Sir,

That Sencore is very old, they became rare in France/ EU. We use a separate Variac, power analyzer and HyPots for safety/earth resistance tesitng.

Did Sencore make a specific 120-240VAC variant? I thought it was just 120VAC.

I passed on these quite some time ago. Similar to Jonpaul owning a separate variac, isolation transformer, power analyzer and leakage/isolation tester is more flexible. Not solely confined to bench use (if you set it up that way) and can perform different tests at once. You also avoid the 120/240V or current limitation due to squeezing a variac into a small enclosure.

The PR570 is rare and expensive even in the US, probably unobtanium in the EU.  Perhaps consider the BK 1655 or 1655A which although analog, has most of the functions of the PR570.  AFAIK, it lacks only the adjustable current trip feature and also only has one meter that needs to be switched to show whatever measurement you want to see (current, voltage, leakage).  The 1655A is still available new, although I'm not sure if that applies to the 230VAC 50Hz model. 
A 3.5 digit 4.5 digit 5 digit 5.5 digit 6.5 digit 7.5 digit DMM is good enough for most people.

Rebonjour a Tous: great topic and notes! Since 1970s, we found that the digital meters were inferior to the analog in case of overloads, transients, and general SMPS developent and troubleshooting.

Many DPM version are too slow to sample or not accurate TRMS I or V. All are rare and VERY heavy, the meters are easily damaged in shipment.

We have a few combination var/iso/meter units in USA, the very fine Staco Variacs some with isolation trsf, low/high current/voltage/watts meters, in the sizes 3 to  20A. All were 120V but may  have 240 possible. Some are still made by Staco.  Other similar from GenRad/General Radio,  a few had digital panel meters or 120/240V outputs.

We feel the Staco are more robust then the Sencore and more available (in USA)

In USA we found all at ARRL Ham Radio/Amateur flea markets, or surplus sales.
I would  suggest Ham /vintage radio fleas , The  big one is in EU soon,  28..30/06 in Germany

I have all the parts... should I document the process in a thread?

Starting a thread now to discuss the features and your design considerations would be a good start.

My setup is fairly simple but would mostly benefit from an inrush current limiting system that had a soft start tied in with adjustable over current protection. Glasslinger did a video on his adjustable electronic circuit breaker (previously linked in this post).

The PR570 primary (line) side wiring tests are a bit useless in the lab. It's either 3 whole functions that are redundant after you first use them or if you already know your outlet wiring, completely redundant. The problem with the leakage tests is they aren't up to date with any appliance testing standards and are limited in function. The power meter is also very basic, you might as well use a proper one and get a bunch of info. Voltage, current, frequency, true/apparent power, power factor, projected energy costs.
