Price 750€, realistic offers welcome.The device is in perfect optical and technical condition. Traces of use are minimal. Self-test and signal path compensation are carried out without errors, the display is very bright and sharp. The GPIB interface and floppy drive works. Have a look to last picture which shows the measured frequency response of the channels.
The device was calibrated in 2012 by an accredited laboratory. I enclose the report. After that it was only used sporadically as a second oscilloscope. I checked the device again randomly, it is within the specification in essential things like bandwidth and DC accuracy.
Other accessories are not included.
As you know, the scope can easily be extended to 1GHz (see
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/conversion-of-500mhz-tds744a-to-1ghz-tds784a). However, it has to be calibrated afterwards, which requires a GPIB connection and DOS software. If required, I can add this software and an AT-Bus GPIB card for free, and, if required for additional shipping costs, also a Windows 98 compatible old PC.
This is a private sale, basically return and warranty are excluded. However, I will take the device back within one week if, contrary to expectations, it does not meet its specifications. In this case the buyer bears the return costs.
