Certainly, the errors are in the right direction for a two-wire effect. I think the risk might be damage to the reference resistor, or a self-balancing bridge issue. Both would be difficult and/or expensive to fix

Point 1 ) My AOIP simulator is a two wires model but the connection ( rear and front ) are 4 wires and I have respected the wiring , that impossible to read resistor value with only two wires connected as that mandatory to provide current to the resistor and measure the voltage
Point 2 ) The ASL F250 can be ''bespoke'' calibrated and that possible to change calibration regarding the probes you fit on , that clearly explain in the doc in PDF I have linked ( page 13 to 27 in detail )
Point 3) I always respect the measuring equipment .
Point 4 ) I have used this ASL F250 only to measure delta temperature variation so I never change the initial calibration setup
