Did you explore Medical cannabis and cannabis oils?
Only BCD but not THC.

Sadly CBD oil did not help in my case. I was on a lot of different medications for a while but sadly none actually helped and they had their own side effects. M.E/CFS is an evil illness. On the outside you look fine but the pain and debilitation it causes is truly awful. You apparently never fully escape its clutches, but, as in my case, you learn to live within the limitations it’s imposes on your life. This is why I will likely never work full time again and only work a few hours per week now If I do too much, I pay a severe price for it as my M.E. produces a lot of pain throughout my body. Thankfully there is research into this new “Long COVID” problem that appears similar to M.E./ CFS and there may be some progress with M.E as a result.

My thoughts are with you and your Wife as M.E./CFS is no fun to have or to witness someone you love suffering with its effects
