I bought a YZXStudio ZY1270, it would be great if the current PDF manual was updated with the actual current firmware instructions and features. I believe the one available online since 2016, is for a previous version, maybe 3.0, would be smart to include the firmware version in the PDF manual as well, I didn't see that.

While I personally struggle with figuring out how many of the features actually work, since many of the features are simply described, with little to no more pertinent info on implementing their actual use explained for dummies, it's worse now that mine came with the latest 3.3 firmware, and some of the features from 3.0 are gone, like the splash screen settings, as just one example I've come across so far, there are more. Great device, wish I knew how to take advantage of some of the advanced settings, NEEDS better and UPDATED documentation!

THANKS.

Here's my first lab clearance item for sale following my leaving Hong Kong announcement post (https://www.eevblog.com/forum/chat/starting-a-new-chapter/).

A Brymen BM906. You can find some detailed specs for the updated BM906S version on the Brymen.com website: http://www.brymen.com/PD02BM900s_906s.html I believe the main differences between the current BM906S and this older BM906 are the fuses. The S version uses higher spec'ed fuses to meet the latest safety standards.

Meter has hardly been used and is in mint condition, apart from a bit of dust. Comes with a pair of test leads as pictured but no temperature probe.

Price is $50 including worldwide shipping with tracking number.

Please post "SOLD" to claim and PM me your PayPal email address for the invoice.

Second item in my clearance sale. A CEM DT-9929 multimter. Hardly used, in good physical condition except some scuff marks on the rubber parts which have always been present since new. It offers high resolution at 40,000 counts but it's NOT very accruate. Spec says 0.06% + 4 digits on voltage ranges but I measured it to be around 0.13% low. Comes with a nice pouch, test leads and k-type temperature probe.

Price is $35 including worldwide shipping with a tracking number.

Please post "SOLD" to claim and PM me your PayPal email address for the invoice.

Re: Franky's sales thread - AD584LH voltage reference device

These seem to be going for about $16-20 with shipping on eBay, I'm selling them for $10 including shipping with tracking number, but WITHOUT the Li-Po battery as I can't ship them:

(battery in the picture will be removed and is NOT included in the sale)

I've got 5 of these. Each provides 4 reference voltages at 2.5/5.0/7.5/10V. They have been sitting on the shelf for a couple of years now with me being too lazy to ever list them in my store, but calibration seems to be still pretty spot on based on my own Keysight 34461A's measurement.

$10 each, Li-Po battery NOT included, worldwide shipping with tracking number. Please PM me your Paypal details if interested.

That's real HK post, not the budget 2 month version most sellers use.

Payment-wise it didn't feel like that :), I mean $10, for tracked shipping, and that fast delivery.. That works for me ;)

FWIW, the term to look for IME is ePacket delivery if you don't want to wait a month or more (for sellers in HK or mainland China). I only do the slow route* if there's a huge price discrepancy or there's no other option.

* Sea delivery BTW.

Today I received my reference. Nice and quick and without any trouble. Franky was even kind enough to add a note with the voltages as measured on his 34461A, including the temperature. I don't have anything nearly as accurate as that, so having a known reference will be a wonderful addition to my lab.

Thank you, Franky!

Franky, what would be nice is a black and/or red grabber with a thin lead on it, say 20cm long, that terminates in a banana jack.  This way you can plug them on the end of your primary leads.  I would take a black and red set at a minimum.

thanks
