EEPROM UV Erasable for sale (Gone)

The lot offered for 0.01 Eur (one euro cent), as is, where is, without any guarantee. Buyer pays shipping, postage, and any and all incidental expenses such as, but not limited to, beer, etc.

I realized that after I had posted and was too lazy to correct it

I guess I could claim they can also be permanently erased electrically by zapping them with a few kilovolts .. or an electric hammer or an electric rotary grinder

I checked postal rates and a 250 gr. letter would be about 10 euro but the max allowable thickness is 5 mm so it won't work. As a 250 gr. small packet it is just under 19 euro which I find excessive.

I ask myself if there might be a cheaper way.

You know, I've had these Eproms in the way for something like three decades and I always wanted to get rid of them but never had the heart to throw them away even though they were really in the way. I just had no idea anyone might want them. Another thread about Eproms got me the idea of advertising here and I am pleased I got several inquiries. As mentioned in my earlier post, postage is kind of expensive pretty much to anywhere in the world but I got a local inquiry so that takes care of that for now. Thanks for asking anyway.

This was the longest local pickup I have ever seen. With the fortunate circumstance of a travel to the other side of the pond, the package was finally hand delivered today.

The EPROMs arrived safe and sound, together with some interesting wire wrap goodies. Thank you soldar!
