NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

I have a Lecroy 7200 Wavepro scope which worked for a while, but then had some issues (long ago, and I've forgotten what exactly) that I set aside.  I have a copy of the service manual.

If anyone is local and wants to have a crack at it, I'm happy to let you have it for free.

In Alhambra (Los Angeles, CA area).

EDIT: It was a 7200A, not 7200.  I goofed on the original title/post content.

Any chance to scan the service manual and make it available online somehow?
There are small lies, big lies and then there is what is on the screen of your oscilloscope.

It was actually the older 7200A. (I don't think anyone is nice enough to hand out 2 GHz scopes)

Would you guys still want the manual scan? My friend will bring everything back this weekend, so I should be able to get it by next week.

Ha ok, I thought it was the other one. Really confusing when they use the same model number for two different generations  ::)

I'll pass on the manuals thanks.

No but thanks for offering  :-+  The ad said 7200A Wavepro and depending on the problems people might actually hand these out for free  ;D I paid $400 for a Wavepro 7200A with some defects a couple of years ago.

I was wondering if this has kicked off as a repair project and what's the status on that front.

Oh, I'm sorry for that mistake!  It was gifted to me from a friend a long time ago. I used it for a project, and then it had been neglected for over a decade. I didn't realize 7200A and 7200 were different. :(

Hopefully it is still worth it?

7200 and 7200A are different though from same era, share the same plugins. (Still nice scopes despite the noise and volume.)
The WavePro 7200A is yet another animal, a few decades younger...

It's fine, free scopes are always worth it

I just got it. If you want to follow along I'll post everything in the TEA thread:

https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/test-equipment-anonymous-(tea)-group-therapy-thread/136600/

So far it seems like there's a dead hard drive (since the scope won't boot).
