« on: September 07, 2024, 01:12:21 pm »

1x   j7231-65037-1             around 51.5mm between center pins
1x   j7231-65034                around 51.5mm between center pins

1x  j7231-65035                 around 77.5mm between center pins

I would call those hardline jumpers.  Definitely not waveguide.

Why not a waveguide? Google says that a coaxial cable is a waveguide (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coaxial_cable), and those "rigid cables" are kinda same thing.

Sure, call them waveguides if you want to confuse everyone.  Then we could call actual waveguides "snafflegorps"  :-//

thks    but  some of the wire are very stiff, maybe the shield is thinned  ...   i have 2 contenders,  i have to get bubble envelopes i ordered them   ill see

1 is in germany, 1 other in usa

here we have thickness rules,  if not, it is a small package ...  not many choices

Hello

in RF cable you can have :
rigid cable which are formed as plumber copper pipe
or
semi-rigid you can form with your finger or simple jigs
or
flexible cable
BUT
all have a central wire , wave guide have no wire inside
