Fluke 189 Used Unit Interest??
« on: November 18, 2013, 10:14:25 pm »
Hi, I can pickup several Fluke 189 unit from a local auction, but before I start bidding what would be the interest in a good working unit?

I can ship world wide via my business, shipping cost would roughly be around $ 20 UPS in the USA and for international shipment it would $40-$60 insured with US Postal service.  For insurance purpose I will have to declare the actual value of the meter, so that will be in the $100 range.

If you are interested what amount would you want to pay? Bidding on the units is now at $ 60-$70 but I expect it to go to at least $ 100-$125

How would it cost $40 or 40? If it's a 189, put it in a USPS flat rate box...
I'm not saying we should kill all stupid people. I'm just saying that we should remove all product safety labels and let natural selection do its work.

How many units are you bidding on? I suppose I would be interested, but at the moment I probably would only be willing to spend about $100-120 max including shipping. I would imagine that these are probably only the units with no probes or other extras? In the USA btw.

There are 20 units available, all with probes, some are cleaner than others. I haven't start bidding, I am first getting a feel of the interest at this blog.
I would want about $ 25 for the bidding, shipping and picking up of the units. If they go for $100 (avarage) that would mean ~ $ 145 for US parties.

I'd be interested in two at that price.

Hmmm. Okay, I suppose that would still be a good deal if you can snag them for that price. Count me as still interested  :-+.

Hi Guys, sorry the bidding went over $ 150 and I had set my max lower, so in the end I didn't win any.
