EBAY [UK]: Used Agilent U8002a Power Supply, Buy-Now, 85 Quid

Just felt like sharing this with you guys.

At that price I would by it myself instantly, however shipping cost to Germany will most likely take the fun out of the deal. Royal Mail doesn't seem to ship packages heavier than 2 kg, Fedex wants 68 Quid for a ~9 kg package, UPS isn't able to give an online quote on the price ... *sigh* ... I give up.

So if any one of you English chaps is looking for a Agilent bench PSU ... here is the link:

I bet it's a very nice supply. Roughly 200 Quid below retail price this listing is/was a steal, imo.

Crap, I hope it turns up eventually. I would feel bad if I made you falll for a trap of a scam artist. A 100% rating @31 ratings however is usually a sign for a trustworthy ebay seller. Still ...

I wouldn't worry. The feedback looks okay so the silence is most probably due to the Christmas break.

Yes, probably, although if they were going to take an extended break setting a holiday notice on their ebay shop or setting up an "out of office" notice on ebay messages would have been preferable to total silence.

Phew, turned up today and appears to work fine.

Seller had been away for xmas.

Edit: If anyone else in the UK is looking for a similar bench power supply this one looks reasonable.
