[TAKEN AU:VIC] Vintage test gear
« on: May 13, 2018, 11:47:20 am »
Hi all,

I am trying to have a bit of a declutter, and am giving away the following test instruments:

Magneti Marelli 703B oscilloscope
Marconi TF801A signal generator
Metrix 931H signal generator.

The scope goes, but appears to have a trigger problem. The signal generators are non-functional. They are nice old "hollow state" instruments, but I really don't have a use for them. Pick up Ballarat only (they are bloody heavy!)

Edit: I meant to add, I'm afraid these are really not suitable for a beginner looking for their first scope, sorry. You will be much better off with something a bit more modern!

No interest?

Oh well, looks like they will have to go back in the shed...

There certainly would be if I wasn’t in Queensland. Love them!

If I had the space, I would certainly get it, but man I will be kicked out of.

Still available?  I'd be keen! I'm in your area and would LOVE the scope!

That oscilloscope appears to be identical to the Dumont 304-A.  At one point it was the most popular oscilloscope.

Interesting, a possible badge-engineering job?

jord4321 is now the new owner of the scope, the signal generators have also gone.

Thanks,

johnwa.

Thanks for the heads up about the Dumont 304-A I was able to find a manual and schematic for that!
