I've got a 50 yr old Philips kit that uses these I think. Post a pic so I can see if they're the same.......you're welcome to them.

I believe they are called Fahnestock clips.

My Philips EE20 didn't have those.

It had a spring that were fitted to a clip that was pushed through a hole in a masonite baseboard ... like this:
