Looking for a spare scope
« on: April 11, 2018, 01:00:36 pm »
Hello, I'm looking for a spare scope. I'm software & hardware hacker. Unfortunately, I'm just a poor hobbyist.
I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance.

I am in the same boat - but really I think you need to have something of a min Spec and a budget to get any meaningful answers...

Still - with Daves reviews, a running table showing the various ones he has reviewed, basic specs, pricing and maybe the top 10 or 20 parameters he evaluated / rated would be excellent.

I am currently looking at the Siglent Technologies SDS1202X-E 200 mhz

Are you willing to repair a Hameg analog scope? It works but has a  linearity-error (timebase?)
I assume that it can be repaired with some help from the forum.

contact me via PM if you are interested

Great little scope that's becoming a popular model.

Please don't get one from Amazon.  :--
Instead buy from Saelig where you can get some EEVblog member discount too.

I am like you, I want an analog scope which would be my first one. It is expensive to ship such scopes here to Jordan, which is why I never got one yet.

I was hoping that someone donate the scope for me and I pay shipping.
