I know the HP 6114A and 6115A Precision Power Supplies are much treasured here, and increasingly hard to find. I just wanted to let anyone interested know that I have a 6114A up on eBay:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/173000805621This one has been beautifully restored, including one of my vinyl overlays for the front panel, putting it just about as close to new looking as you can get. Electrically it's 100% functional, calibrated against my recently calibrated Agilent 6.5 digit DMM, and includes the precision current adjustment pot and knob.
I also have a more modern Agilent power supply, an E3632A.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Agilent-E3632A-0-15V-7A-0-30V-4A-DC-Power-Supply-Excellent-Condition/173000718330Also in excellent condition. There are a few scratches on one side, but otherwise it's in near perfect shape. The VFD is still plenty bright.
Finally, I have a VIZ WP-29A Variable Isolation Transformer for sale:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/VIZ-WP-29A-Variable-Isolation-Transformer-0-150VAC-2-25A-Fully-Functional/173000866894This one works, and would be an inexpensive option for someone who needs a variable isolation transformer for equipment repair or other uses. It does produce an audible hum, but otherwise seems to be working well.
Auction ending tomorrow (Sunday in PST time zone).
I am amazed that the 6114A has no bids. This is as close to a new one as you will find. Plus it has the 10 turn precision current adjustment option
E3632A is cool, but only one output
. I like vintage stuff, but no space for it, sorry. Also in EU we have ~230V, not 110V, which is also a problem for isolation transformer (besides huge shipping costs). But good luck, anyway!

US prices on those are a bit less than in Europe, and my understanding is they usually go for around $200 - $250 depending on where the buyer is. So, I guess a bit on the low end. It really is in fantastic shape - hurt to let that one go.
I wasn't around for the closing on the E3632A. It was a good buy.
It's good you mentioned the front panel overlay in the 6114A listing. The results are really good. Did you scan the original to make it?
Kicking myself for missing the E3632A auction ... I set an alarm and still messed up :-). If your eBay buyer falls thru PM me I'll buy it :-)

Yes, I started with a scan to get the placement of the text and the holes correct. I used Photoshop to recreate the text and the other markings. Then there was a little bit of trial and error to get it all correct. The vinyl sticker is covered with a sheet of UV resistant material that also gives it a non-gloss finish.
It was a lot of work the first time, but I've used it on 5 units now, so the cost has been somewhat amortized.
BTW, I am more than happy to share the files for the HP templates. I have one for the 6115A as well.
First 6114A sold at the "Buy it Now" price. i have listed the second (and last) one now:

You aren't far from me (I'm in Kirkland)! Funny to see two 611x fans in a close area. If you ever happen to come across one which is so wrecked it is irreparable but it still has working feet/tilt bail please let me know. One of my two 6114A is missing the feet and tilt bail (or is it bale?) and I would love for both to match. I will pay for it of course.

That'd be great. I have a 6114A as well. It looks fine now, but the templates may come in handy in the future. I'll probably get a 6115A at some point.

I'll keep an eye open for you as well.

It's
bail. See 5th noun sense.
Price at $60 for the PS is fine, but the economy shipping USPS to Florida is $58. Tough ratio to swallow. Best of luck with it, wish you were closer.

Yes, this is the killer. I am at a loss how to ship it cheaper, though.
Here is a link to the 6114A/6115A faceplate templates (Photoshop format). There are two flavors of these, depending on whether the unit has the old style or new style power switch. I only created the 6115A template for the old-style switch, but it shouldn't be a big deal to create one for the new-style switch by changing the text on the 6114A template.

Thanks! My 6114A has the newer face with the big power switch. I quite like the little metal toggle. Should be easy enough to modify the 6115A template if I end up with the older style.

Check the files again - there is already a 6114A template with the big power switch.
Yeah, saw that. I was just sharing which one I have. Just an FYI.
So, which style are you keeping on your bench?
I am keeping a couple of 6115A. I have a Rigol 3 channel supply that can do higher currents at a lower voltage, so I figured it would be more useful to have something that can go up to a higher voltage.
Just 9 hours left on the auction of the second supply, and right now some guy is getting it for one cent... I might just close the auction and give it away locally. Not worth the hassle of shipping for one cent.
Sold! Someone got a bargain, but at least I didn't take a complete bath on it - sold for $46.98.
