Hello,
***************
Updated August 18/2019.
I've added a listing for 32 1" Squares for 18$ CAD (~14$ USD). The shipping is about 6$ USD to the USA. This is for those who may want to try out or experiment with EMI absorber
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/32pcs-EMI-Absorber-Pre-Cut-1-Squares-1mm-thick-with-adhesive-SDR-010WA/153609129685?hash=item23c3d14ed5:g:1ZAAAOSw4wtc1kyZ

*******************

Yes, first time post, and it's a for-sale item. But I think it should be of interest. I have several batches of 1000 squares of EMI absorber. I have the part on Ebay with pictures and datasheet, instead of re-listing it all here. It's 75$ Canadian for 1000 squares (0.075$ each square).

If anyone is interested let me know, or use the Ebay listing. I only have it set up for shipping to Canada and USA right now. I can ship other places, I just didn't set it up. So if you want to purchase some outside of Canada or USA, Let me know here and I'll find out the cost.

Take note that 88 squares would equal an 8x11" sheet size. So the 1000 squares for 75$ CAD is equivalent to about 11 A4 sheet sizes.

Thanks

I'm no RF expert by far, but I'll try my best. At that particular frequency where it has the highest absorbtion, it can absorb 99% of the reflected energy. I would assume they test at different frequencies and power levels to come to that conclusion. In our case, we picked this product since it had the highest absorbtion at the problematic frequency. We had a case where the product was passing certification, but the variant with coin cells sitting over the RF radiator did not. Placing the absorber on the RF module (below the coin cells) reduced the RSE levels enough to pass. We experimented with the different thicknesses and it was matching what the charts showed. We chose the 1mm since it allowed us to pass with a safe buffer.

Here is an example of how the RF absorber made a difference on a harmonic of 1800Mhz.

Hello,

The "make an offer" is now available on ebay link. I would only sell 1000 for 75$. for lower quantities post here or pm me, until I get around to posting lower quantities on ebay.
For more than 1000 (in multiples of 1K) I can sell for less than 7.5 cents each square. 130$ for 2000 squares.
Remember this is Canadian dollars, so for you USA guys it's almost free.
