I received my U1282a "replacement" yesterday (19 Dec).  The ship date on the invoice is the 15th.

Great. Where was it shipped from?

Mine should arrive soon. According to DHL Global Forwarding it was received in Netherlands yesterday. Likely already forwarded to me.

I've just received an email with a reference number for mine, sent from Penang in Malaysia 2 days ago. Estimated time of arrival to Amsterdam is in two days, so should be here soon!

a few hours ago received identical email/tracking info (same flight) as wraper, main question will be receive new AWB to track it from NL to everywhere else, or we just have to wait for random call from DHL when they arrive at the door.

I'm definitely with you on that, the one and only thing these meters seem to lack is a thorough and decent review, damn shame really.

Received my U1173 IR cable at 16th of December. Got no notification beforehand. Now looking forward to the revised U1273A.

I received my U1282a "replacement" yesterday (19 Dec).  The ship date on the invoice is the 15th.

I'm not qualified to review the meter, and I've already missed the unboxing.  My review would be, "Ooooo!  Pretty orange!"

However, I can say it is big.  Although only a few millimeters bigger in overall dimensions, it lacks the narrow waist of the U1272A which makes it cumbersome to hold.  But I can live with that, given the extra accuracy, and the awesome battery life.

What i am interested to see if they worked out any of the annoying quirks in the U1273A that i could rant about for quite a while. Its only small things but they come up often enough to be annoying to me.

I do have a 8 1/2 digit Keithley DMM to verify its improved accuracy when it gets here, tho i wouldn't have any doubt in it. I tested my U1273A and it was basically +/- a digit or two on the commonly used DCV and DCI ranges, well within spec and agreed with the included calibration papers.

The real test will be what multimeter ends up getting used the most on my bench over the time of a year.

After giving up all hope of receiving this item before Christmas I was pleasantly surprised late today to hear the gate rattle and had only just recently contacted another forum member privately to ascertain whether he had received any notification just prior to the delivery of the parcel in the way of a DHL docket or similar and he was kind enough to inform me that he hadn't and the item had arrived virtually unannounced other than the earlier shipping notification from Keysight.

Anyway it turned up so here is the review of the box.   
Thank you very much Keysight, I really love the box and cannot stop touching it and playing with the label.

Thanks tautech, I took your advice and just went out to retrieve the box and found that the possums have crapped all over it.

Actually im an owner of Keysight U1273A (oled version),i haven't the possibilityto test it for EMC issue ,but i suppose by looking from others that this problem is here too.
Can i ask for the replacement of this unit for free ?
What i must to do ?
