My DIY Solder smoke and fume hood

Redoing my work area and needed a solution for smoke and fume, It is in the basement and the wife gets upset especially if I let the magic smoke out of something as the work area is directly below the master bedroom. A friend of mine owns a heating and cooling company and made me the hood in about 10 minutes. Used a four inch 100 cfm duct fan as the extractor. It is going to vent outside. I have glass block windows and can remove one block and install a dryer vent on the outside.

About the same as smoking Texan plain. Just without the nicotine hit, the rest of the cyclic aromatics, nano size particulates and organic acids are all there.

Lovely things those, 21 per pack, 20 rolled and one loose leaf. The best coffin nails you could buy cheap.
