EdoNork, when you play video on youtube, you can click on "CC" and then on "English", and you have subtitles.

Hi Dave,I know this is a pretty old post but it looks like there's some new feature where you can enable community subtitles. So bored/ silly people such as myself can type subtitles for your video as we watch it. I don't know if you can/ would be interested in turning that on.
In English, nothing more complicated.Sometimes I can't have the audio on, so subtitles will be fine.Maybe some potential users can read English but not understand spoken English very well.You will have more users
it's very time consuming to do subtitles, in my own trials it's about 3X the length of the video unless your really quick at typing!
