Where to connect the USB Chassis?

This has been discussed a lot. The standard is vague ans tells to connect it in a way that makes EMC better.

People like to make up complicated theories on how to connect it. In practice connect it to the ground and don't worry about it. if you have specific  issue doing that in your application, then it would be easier to tell how to redesign to better work in your application. But there is 99.9999% chance it will work  as  is.
