Using custom waveforms on an arbitrary waveform generator
« on: December 19, 2014, 03:09:16 am »
I'm using a 4000 series Rigol arbitrary waveform generator. I have in excel, a normalised waveform of one period (=100 points) which I want to load into the arbitrary waveform generator and be able to adjust the frequency. Using Rigol Ultra Station, I try to create a new waveform,  but it is set at 16383 points. How do I get my 100 point waveform to fill across one period for use in the arb generator? Do I need to scale it exactly to 16383 points in order to have my waveform repeat without a huge gap between each period?

Hi jokkydee,

I can’t help you with this but maybe asking the question under the Test Equipment section of this forum may get you an answer.
