Expanding On Board Memory Hantek DSO5062b

To all Hantek DSO5062B owners, I would like to know if any of you had tried to expand the on board memory longer record time or perhaps allowing this dso to have deeper memory?

Could this be done by unsoldering the one memory chip and replace it with a new one? Does the firmware need to be change to have the dso recognize this change?

Just a thought, I don't know if it is even possible but seeing the BMV model having 2M of memory instead of 1M makes me think this is very well be possible since the Hantek DSO50262BM and BMV both have the extended memory.
