Unknown Bridge rectifier

Hi everyone,

I have a faulty bridge rectifier ic (from an iMac power supply) that I have some difficulties tracking down. It's labeled: "T4KB80F" and then "0N15". Google seems to not know about this part. I thought On Semiconductor could have made it but a search there came up empty. I will attach a photo of it.

Protip: Try removing digits/characters from the end of a part number and searching again. A quick google for "T4KB80" led me to this Alibaba seller, who also listed a different part number: GBU408. That yields this datasheet; also, pictures of a GBU408 look a lot like your own part, which is pretty obviously a cheap knockoff.


Also, this is just a bridge rectifier. Just go with a slightly overspec'd model when replacing it.

Just use any other rectifier you think is bigger. Look on the back of the whatever it is in and check the power consumption. if you can guess the voltage that is used, then you can get an idea of the current.

To be safe and fast, just get the largest rectifier that will fit into the device and use it. Done. big rectifiers cost about $1 or $2. It's a generic part so there is no need to match it except to make it as big or bigger in the current handling department. nothing else matters.

Salvage one ! or use big diodes is fine too.
