I have to design an isolated DC/DC converter. Here are some specs:
Vin: wide range (from 100VDC to 400VDC)
or 400V fixed from PFC.
Vout: adjustable voltage from1.7VDC to 18VDC
Iout: 20A max (at any voltage)
Efficency: I know the efficency will be peak only at one volatge/current so I'd say around 92%+ at 18V 20A
Which topology would you recommend that allows to have such a big output range?
I've been investigating and I found Phase-Shifted Full-Bridge could be a good option.
I found this controller from TI UCC28951 that looks quite good. But I don't know it enables to put a potentiometer in the feedback loop and adjust down to 1.7V
