Hello All!
I have been trying for some time to make my own 1kV 1A dc power supply but i got only to 265v and i seem stuck there. i used that zvs driver circuit with more transistors (circuit is in the attachment i just paralleled 4 transistors).
Now i made a transformer with 6/6 turns one the primary and a 100 turns on the secondary and with 60uF capacitor this produces high pitch sound and 265v dc on 150W 220v light bulb i attached the wave forms of the primary and secondary under that load, also i noticed that by increasing capacitance i get higher voltage but at this point they become ridiculously large and i'm sure i'm doing something wrong with the transformer. I'm using transformer core from crt tv. Transistors doesn't even get to 35C under load. if someone can help im willing to spend time since i have been trying to make this for like past 2 months i don't give up that easy i find it relaxing
thanks in advance
