BAT85 V BAT85S diodes, any difference?
« on: August 30, 2013, 12:24:01 pm »
I have a circuit that calls for BAT85 diodes, and I have a pack of new BAT85S diodes, can I use them? I have looked at spec sheets and see no obvious difference, but presumably there must be *some* difference between a BAT85 and a BAT85S?

Thanks.
Best regards,

BAT85 is in the very slightly shorter DO-34 package rather than the more common DO-35. I'd say they are perfectly interchangeable unless they've specifically designed the very, very tight PCB for the shorter DO-34 package. (Doubtful, as they could just use a freaking SMD package... :P)
