Hello guys,
I am a beginner, who has no means of setuping a proper lab. That makes soldering, especially SMD components, hardly possible. I can still use some commercial services for that, for instance JLCPCB. I usually can get by with this. Unfortunately, JLCPCB in its component library doesn't have any USB connectors. This means that I would have to solder them on my own. The problem is that all horizontal connectors I found are SMD. Do you have any idea how can I replace them some other though hole component?
To be fair, there are some connectors which have some pins through hole and some other SMD. This might help, but still I don't believe I would able to solder them.
Kind regards
