« on: February 06, 2017, 01:09:25 pm »
Hi Guys,

So I just started with Altium Designer moving from EAGLE, I would like know how if possible I can make my design space larger..(extend the borders). I have just placed one part and it almost takes up the whole window. I have many other parts to add to the design, please see the picture I attached below......

Please assist, thanks in advance

Go to DXP - preferences - system - new document defaults - and change the schematic template to "A3.SchDot". After that add a new schematic to your project. It should be bigger now.

If you cannot find the altium templates: they are stored in:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Altium\ADxx\Templates\

I believe you can right-click on the schematic, go to "Document options" and change the document size there.
