Owon VDS 1022i

i would like to buy a scope for some light hobby use.
Since i'm a sub for Mike Harrison(mikeselectricstuff) i have seen that he took apart a VDS series scope and he didn't seem put off by it.

Is it worth the money?
currently 78 euros on amazon DE, but i have a 30 euro gift code from work, so basically 48.
